Walęcki had a short spell in Belgium at Lokomotiv Veltem Back-on-Track, being signed from Victoria Kamień in Poland. Although he was immediately dropped in the first squad, gaining 15 appearances and scoring eight times in the process, he retired just one season after moving to Belgium. Rumours say he suffered from insuffient quality vodka syndrome.
