The Trophée Rubis, also called France Ruby Challenger Cup, is an elimination cup competition organised by the Hattrick Football Association (HFA), between French clubs that are knocked out in the second round of the Coupe de France. This French variant of the Ruby Challenger Cup was established in global season 56.
History
The Hattrick Football Association had reportedly considered adding a new cup tournament, believing that a bottom-level tournament could act as a means of giving lower-ranked clubs a chance of progressing to stages beyond those in which they would generally be eliminated in the Coupe de France. The tournament started in global season 56.
