Federaţia Brăila Mea (Brăila Mea Federation) is the largest regional federation in Romania, currently boasting over 80 members and ranking among the top 5 federations in the country. The federation took off at the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010, when Magneto made a concerted effort to unite the users from Brăila into a small regional group. Surrounded by a team of enthusiastic users, the federation quickly gained momentum and began to grow rapidly.
Magneto led the federation during its first year of existence, until January 2011, when Frunza won the elections and replaced him (Magneto did not run; the runner-up was radoivali). However, Frunza’s leadership was short-lived, as the pressures and responsibilities of the role proved too demanding. By July 2011, Magneto returned to take charge once again.
Federaţia Brăila Mea is the sole sponsor of both the Cupa Brăilei and the Cupa Mică a Brăilei. The all-time record for prizes was set during Cupa Brăilei Ediţia 6, when the tournament offered 1,140 days of Hattrick Supporter and two books.
The federation reached its peak membership in 2025, with over 95 Brăila-based users officially joining. The ultimate goal remains to bring together all 133 Hattrick users from Brăila — but the rest are either shy, retired, or just plain cowards. 😄
Following Magneto's retirement from the game in 2023, the mantle of leadership for the federation has passed to a new era under the guidance of FloFish. Though his reign is still in its early days and achievements remain to be written, all eyes are on him to see whether he will rise to the legendary status of his predecessor — or simply enjoy the perks of the throne without lifting a finger. Time will tell. 😄
