Topscoorder was toen ook [[Steef Jilderda]] de publiekslieveling, één plekje achter hem stond [[Kaarre Wendelboe]] met 13 doelpunten. Ook [[Filippo Lanconelli]] en [[Wiljo Nooteboom]] stonden in de top 10 van de topscoorderslijst. VVZ'49 Gi. stond toen dus al bekend om zijn goede aanval.
