FC Merchtem is a Belgian club from Vlaams-Brabant founded by stoorzender on 29-05-2005. Originaly, the teamname was ksvo (koninklijk steenokkerzeel vlug op). On 26-04-2017, the owner renamed the club to Oppèkse Kadeeën when he moved to Opwijk. The final name FC Merchtem was given on 07-10-2019, when the owner moved to Merchtem. The team started in the Belgian 10th division and currently plays in the 5th division.
