Every player has a personality which can be broken down into four subsections. For the purpose of this page, we will refer to these four subsections as leadership, agreeability, honesty and aggressiveness.
Leadership
Leadership is a player parameter between disastrous and solid, and very important for coaches. Players with high leadership can eventually be turned into coaches. This is less expensive than external coaches, if their experience is good enough.
Coach
Leadership is an important aspect when selecting a coach: With a high leadership, the team spirit will degrade slower when it is above composed, and it will increase faster when it is below.
Coach leadership makes absolutely no difference to the effects of PIC and MOTS.
Agreeability
Agreeability is also measured on a scale, and the categories are:
- popular
- sympathetic
- pleasant
- controversial
- nasty
The only way this stat affects the game is through TS Hits that may occur on purchasing players
There is also one other category of agreeability, and exists only in one player - Bob Sunesson, who is described as a beloved team member. He was recently fired (april 2006) and is 'replaced' by Bob (player id 109567443).
Leadership and Agreeability
These two attributes are linked, and play a role in determining who the team leader is at a given club.
The exact impact of the team leader is a matter of debate on the conferences. The rules say that the team leader affects the "atmosphere" in the squad (arguably referring to team spirit). Also see the discussion about clowns and anticlowns.
Honesty
This attribute of a players personality determines the chances of a player getting a card for diving in order to gain a freekick or penalty for his team. The more honest a player is, the less likely he is to get booked.
Honesty can be measured on a scale, and the categories are:
- Infamous
- Dishonest
- Honest
- Upright
- Righteous
Research has gone into this aspect of players personalities: see Hattristics.
| Honesty | % of players with this personality | Chances of a yellow for diving |
| Righteous | 3.5% | 0.3% |
| Upright | 24.5% | 1.5% |
| Honest | 44% | 4% |
| Dishonest | 24.5% | 6% |
| Infamous | 3.5% | 10% |
Aggressiveness
This attribute of a players personality determines the chances of a player getting a card for fouling an opposition player. The more aggressive a player is, the more likely he is to get booked.
Aggressiveness can be measured on a scale, and the categories are:
- Tranquil
- Calm
- Balanced
- Temperamental
- Fiery
Research has gone into this aspect of players personalities: see Hattristics.
| Aggressiveness | % of players with this personality | Chances of a yellow for fouling |
| Tranquil | 8% | 0.3% |
| Calm | 24% | 1.5% |
| Balanced | 36% | 4% |
| Temperamental | 24% | 7.5% |
| Fiery | 8% | 11.5% |
