History

Following real life football, Scotland is an independant nation in Hattrick. While it is a small nation in Hattrick terms, it still competes internationally, with greater effectivness than in real life.

In World Cup VI the Scottish national team, under the management of Boggler, made a massive impact, against all the odds getting to the final, where they unfortunatly got defeated by Sverige. Unfortunately they have failed to qualify due to some hard luck for World Cup VII.

Scotland is also a very social nation, holding frequent meetings around the country, with all managers welcome. There is also a mentoring program, run by PIE-EdWeatherall, to try keeping new managers interested in the game and also to strengthen the nation, allowing it to gain an even stronger national side.
