The Nyhøyden Derby is a Norwegian derby between the two football clubs from Nyhøyden (Hedmark region); Torden FK and Nyhøyden Atletiske Sportsklubb. Whilst TFK were founded in 2004 and Sportsklubben in 2023, the latter was indeed active between 2006-07, but was disbanded after two seasons.
TFK has won the sixth division thirteen times and the fifth division three times. They have reached the 4th round of the Norwegian Cup, and can also boast a final in the Consolation Cup. Sportsklubben has won the sixth divison one time, and reached the 2nd round of the Norwegian Cup as their best performance.
TFK plays its home games at Nyhøyden Idrettspark (ground record: 74 754), while Sportsklubbens home ground is Nyhøyden Gressbane (ground record 35 706). The two grounds are less than a kilometer apart, and holds 80 106 and 35 706 spectators respectively.
There are no social or political distinction between the clubs, however while TFK was founded by industrial workers, Sportsklubben was founded by young students. Based on this, one can, quite simply, claim that TFK is a workers' club while Sportsklubben is a student club. Geographically, TFK belongs to the northern part of Nyhøyden towards the river Glomma, while Sportsklubben is located in the south. Both teams are strongly rooted in local patriotism in terms of their affiliation and connection to Nyhøyden.
