Van Bogget is a youth product of Lokomotiv Veltem Back-on-Track, who was promoted from the youth academy and immediately sold to Tschutschubahn Bern 2013 in Oman without ever playing a match. From there on he moved along immediately again, spending short intervals in Finland and Germany before finally ending up in Brazil with hickteam where he spent three seasons before moving back to Belgium.
