The Season 75 is the 55nd season of VI.740, a football league in the sixth division of the French football league system.
Summary
As Verden was promoted at the end of the previous season, Olympique du Mas Grenier was relegated out of the V.172 at the start of this season. Other new entrants were the clubs DFCOr and AS Geldar, who replaced two inactive teams (FC Sans Glu and Festifoot). After the third round, FC Bloup became a Bot team and the same thing happened for DFCOr in round eight. Olympique du Mas Grenier was emerged as the early favourite for the league title and after the fourth round they occupied the first place untill the last round.
Ici c'est Paris 78 claimed the league title on the final day of the season with a 3–0 win at Olympique du Mas Grenier. Paris and Olympique both finished on 39 points, but Paris finished first due to a better goal difference (+56, against +47 for Olympique) to end one of the most exciting and closest title races in many years. The Italian striker Eugenio D'Elia (Paris) finished as top goalscorer of the league with 19 goals (in 14 games).
