A GameMaster, or GM, is a Hattrick user who helps the Hattrick Team to run the game, to serve as a link between the Hattrick Team and the community, and to improve the in-game experience of the users.
GameMasters spend a great deal of their time hunting for cheaters, to make sure that no user gets any unfair advantages. This is one important task, but they have also others:
- Answering tickets and mails sent by users
- Checking new applications for teams
- Dealing with overpriced transfers
- Reporting bugs to HTs
New GameMasters are appointed by the Hattrick team in collaboration with local officials. There is no unique way to become a GM. Typically, GameMaster candidates are active members of the community, mature and constructive, as well as knowledgable about the game.
