Cyprus (Kipros in Greek, Kıbrıs in Turkish) is an Eastern European country. It was the 76th nation to join the Hattrick World.
The Republic of Cyprus is an island country in the Mediterranean with a Population of near 1.2 milion people. The capital and largest city is Nicosia.The international community considers the northern part of the island, occupied by Turkish forces, to be territory of the Republic of Cyprus and of the European Union.
History
- Cypriot league exists since February 2004. It is one of the six new leagues for global season 23.
- Cyprus has not hosted any World Cup yet.
