A trophy is handed out in prize shelf to teams that achieve a valuable position in a competition.
A trophies basic set was introduced on 2001 as a supporter feature (thus only visible to Hattrick Supporters) and has undergone several graphical changes and additions over the years. Today trophies are free and visible to everyone.
An earlier addition were trophies for division XI and XII series winners, shortly after the Hattrick Masters medals for winners and top scorers. Then came trophies for unofficial tournament champions. After (global season 55 cup system reform, cup thophies became five instead of just one.
Trophy Set
The current official icon set for the prize shelf was introduced on 17 June 2009 and has seen a few changes since then.

| Of late, we have made it a habit of ours to change trophies every now and again. Once more, it's now time again for new trophies! As you now can see in your prize shelf your old medals have disappeared, and their place is taken by nice shiny trophies instead. Your club page will show your latest eight trophies.
The reason for changing once again is that the old ones weren't really appreciated by the community. These new ones have been tested for a long time by users on Stage (our testing ground). We would also like to inform you that we intend to stop this habit of changing trophies now. To be honest, it's not one of those habits we want to keep! | |

There are separate trophies for World Cup, Hattrick Masters, national cup and the top series titles. The medals for winning other divisions are separated by the colour of the medal ribbon. | |
