Summary

The fourth edition was an edition with some question marks, first of all their played 23 teams, drawn over 5 groups. We had 3 groups of 5 teams and 2 groups of 4 teams. Only 8 teams of the 23 would qualify for the quarter-finals what meant that some teams who finished second in the group, where out of the Cup. After this edition it was clear that there were more teams then de Friezen and Rubingher Boys who could win the cup.

The Blauw/witte Draken knew a great tournament, crowned with a final, unfortunately they lost with 4-2 over FC Lido. Surprising FC Lido knocked in the quarterfinals Rubingher Boys out of the tournament and de Friezen in the semi-finals. Maanstede United(owned by the president of the MATE federation) became fourth after a defeat in the 3/4th place final.
