Nl/Nationaal team

Een nationaal team bestaat uit de beste spelers van een bepaald land. Ze worden gekozen door de huidige bondscoach van het land. Er zijn twee categoriën nationale teams: : de nationale teams met spelers van alle leeftijden en de U-20 nationale teams met spelers van onder de 21 jaar.

Een speler kan enkel deel uitmaken van de nationale ploeg van zijn eigen land, hij kan ook niet van nationaliteit veranderen.

U-20 nationale teams

U-20 Nationale Teams bestaan uit spelers van onder 21 jaar uit het land van het nationale team. In de meeste landen maken enkel spelers die gepulled worden als 17 jarige met een deftige primaire en secundaire vaardigheid een kans om bij de U-20 terecht te komen. In grote landen betekent dit vaak dat enkel spelers van 17 jaar (en zo weinig mogelijk dagen) met een uitstekende hoofdskill gepulled in de eerste weken van het seizoen een kans maken op U-20 selectie. Voor dergelijke spelers worden vaak ongeloofelijke prijzen betaald.

De U-20 bondscoach wordt elke twee seizoenen verkozen door de gebruikers van het land in kwestie.

Nationale teams

National Teams are able to select players of any age, as long as they are of the same nationality as the National Team. The skill level required for a player to make it into the national team differ from country to country, and is primarily based on the age and size of the country in Hattrick. In the larger countries a player typically needs to be near divine in one of his primary skills in order to make it.

The senior team's national coach is elected every two seasons by the users of the country the team is from; the election is staggered to happen on different seasons than the U-20 elections.

National team players

Players gain experience by playing in national team matches. As well, a national team player will earn a salary reduction, when playing in a national team match, of 33-40% depending on whether or not he is playing in his home country.

Every National player will also get a Memorable moment when he makes his debut with a National team, and another one if he get to play in a World Cup semifinal or final.

On the players page of their club they are accompanied by a flag of their country. Furthermore the page of the specific player mentions the following: "Also part of Team ...!"

Most of the time having a national team player is considered an honour. Many teams around the globe fully dedicate their teams to training U20 and/or NT players. However farm teams are disliked by many.

National team trackers

De meeste teams gebruiken database to keep track of their players. There usually is a tracking tool that has been granted the status of a global tracker and that any country can use if they want to. Besides it there are a few local trackers that were created by users that maintain a CHPP licence for a particular country.
