V.233 Cup
The V.233 Cup was started by ZeekLTK during the United States's Season 26. The only stipulation to participate is that you must currently be in the series V.233 in your country.
The initial cup had 16 teams from 13 nations (Austria, Belgium, Croatia, England, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Latvia, Oceania, Switzerland, and USA). It was set up with 4 groups of 4 teams. The top two advanced to the quarterfinals, and so forth in a single elimination play-off until the championship match. Germany's Mystic Knights defeated Israel's Haifa Sixers for the championship.
The second cup had more interest, as 24 teams participated from 18 nations (Austria, Brazil, Colombia, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Latvia, Malaysia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and USA). Again, the Germans and Israelis reached the semifinals, but this time they were eached defeated by new comers. The cup stayed in Europe though, as Portugal's Congregação dos Infames defeated Norway's Voltz in the championship match.
The third cup doubled in terms of participation, observing 48 teams participating from 30 nations (Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Croatia, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Norway, Oceania, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, USA, and Uruguay - teams from Serbia & Montenegro and Venezuela were also signed up but withdrew). The tournament was set up with eight groups of six teams where the top two teams would advance to the knockout round. After having teams reach the semifinals (and further) in the last two tournaments, and despite having more teams than ever in the tournament (four), Germany failed to put a team into the knockout round for this cup. However, their neighbors Holland, who were entering the cup for the first time, continued the western european dominance in their absence. The Dutch got two teams into the knockout round and eventually won the championship as FC Smuzie defeated Teenage Mutants Ninja Turtles from Oceania.
