Overview

Gold Team Belfort FC was born in 2007 and played their first ever game against spanish side "Metz" on the 04/07/2007 at "Bonal Park", a game which ended in a 2-1 defeat. The name "Bonal Park" was only kept for one game before being changed to "Stade Sergio Leone" in honour to the great Italian Direcor. The first league game ended in a defeat 4-2 away to "the Juggling Hippos" on the 21/07/2007.

Belfort

Belfort (French pronunciation: [bɛl.fɔʁ]) is a commune in the Territoire de Belfort department in Franche-Comté in northeastern France and is the prefecture of the department. It is located on the Savoureuse, on the strategically important natural route between the Rhine and the Rhône – the Belfort Gap (Trouée de Belfort) or Burgundian Gate (Porte de Bourgogne).
