Leonardo Kršlović is a Croatian football player who currently plays for Farmers on the storm and Croatian National Team, mainly as a Central Defender, although he can play effectively as an Inner Midfielder, an for the club occasionaly also as a Defensive Forward. He is a renowned set piece specialist and is known for his quickness. He is currently first choice SP taker for Croatia.


Youth Carrer

Kršlović was scouted at the begining of Season 51 by Ivo Peršon for Mali ribari, youth team of Croatian club Vinko morski vuk. He has spent almost 2 seasons in junior football before beining promoted at age 17 in 14 week of Season 52. He participated in one league game, coming in in last minutes, before immidiately being put for sale and being sold for modest sum of around 660k € to Scottish team Black Widow Avengers.

Club Career

Kršlović spent early days of his career in Great Britain, first playing three seasons for Black Widow Avengers in Scotland, winning one Division V (season 54, between two Div. IV campaigns) title in process, and then spending Season 56 with FC Lüge in Welsh Divison IV. During this time, Kršlović was called-up to Croatian U20 National Team and has earned 8 caps. He was then sold to a farm team HNK Trogir, where he has played for 8 and a half seasons. He was then transfered to Farmers on the storm for 7.3M € on June 30th, 2017.


Career at Farmers

Kršlović came to Farmers as a substitution for Aldo Katalenić, both as a primary Set Piece taker and as a primary Central Defender. He debuted just one day after his transfer, on July 1st in a league game against CroCeltic, playing alongside Katalenić in what was latters last game for Farmers. It finished 1-1. Kršlović immediately proved himself as a starter, and he has scored 5 goals through the end of the season 65, including his first Farmers Hattrick in Round 10 against Rudeš Dogs in an away 7-0 victory.

Kršlović opened the next season strongly, with 4 goals in 10-0 thrashing of bot team jadranks in 1st Round of Croatian Cup. During the season, he was Farmers' best scorer in competitive matches, scoring all in all 8 goals, albeit half of those came in aforementioned 1st cup round thrasing. Those goals included opening goal in an away game against NK Milicija (ended 1-1) and two match winning SP goals - a first half freekick at Inter 2006 in 10th Round (first Farmers' win in the season) and a 87th minute penalty against in the promotion play-off match against kantun. Both games ended 1-0 and Farmers' eventually managed to stay in III.15. Next season saw Farmers achieving their biggest challenger cup run in history, reaching semifinals of Ruby cup. Kršlović contributed with one goal. In the league he scored 3 goals, all on the road - in 1st round win at FC FutureClub (3-1), 8th round draw at Poberun (3-3) and 9th round loss at eventual champions Laka Lovica (1-2). Farmers finished on 4th position in highly competitive III.15. Kršlović was among key players in the next season, as Farmers won the title in III.15 but lost in play-offs.

International Career

Kršlović has played 8 games for U20 National Team, scoring twice. For the senior national team, he has played 15 games so far and scored 3 goals. His first 4 caps were occasional, but since the begining of Season 66, he is marked as a first choice Central Defender and Set Piece taker for Croatian national team. He participated in World Cup XXXII.
