Ennaji was noticed in the youth academy of Lokomotiv Veltem Back-on-Track as a technical defender with decent overall skills. Ennaji was the last of a series of talented players quickly graduating from the youth squad at Lokomotiv Veltem, following in the footsteps of Günter Vande Candelaere, Mike Hubert and Elias Decot who are all of roughly the same age. Upon turning 17, Ennaji moved to fc tgevaar, staying close to home but hoping to gain more experience.
