Hattrick announces
Leaders_ now successful in Hattrick Masters
Yesterday evening the Hattrick Masters final took place between Laniakea from Slovenia and Leaders_ from Lithuania.

Laniaka took the initiative in the game which resulted in two good opportunities to open the score. While chances can be missed of course, many thought that the penalty they got should have gone in, but then there was Muratčauš who made a great save. While everyone from Laniaka were still in disbelief, in less than 2 minutes the ball went twice into the net at the other end of the pitch. The score, 0 - 2 after 24 minutes in the first half. The manager of Leaders_ then gave his team some tactical instructions to adjust their style of play. Whether it was because of the instructions or not, nothing significant happened during the remaining time of the first half.

Despite being two goals behind, Laniaka didn't give up and in all honesty, they didn't play bad either. Sometimes a little bit of luck is all you need. Twelve minutes into the second half things looked a lot better when Laniaka scored 1 - 2 and a sign to their fans to encourage their team to give their all to turn the game around. Five minutes later there was a chance to score the equaliser, but now the post was in the way. Didn't we mention something about luck earlier? As always when a team is playing good and doesn't score, it is bound to happen at the other end of the field. In the 80th and 83rd minute Leaders_ showed that their players were very efficient in front of the goal, 1 -4. A score which was consolidated by Leaders_ until the final whistle. The Hattrick Masters trophy of this season goes home to Lithuania.

Our congratulations go to Leaders_ and their manager Whatever_.

Hattrick announces
Spentrup IF wins Hattrick Masters
Yesterday evening it was that time of the season again when the Hattrick Masters final took place between De Rodenburcht from the Netherlands and Spentrup IF from Denmark.

As both teams explored their possibilities, not that much happened in the first 15 minutes of the game. However then the game sparked off with a first good chance for the Danes. No goal though. 3 minutes later there was a lot of cheering though for the first goal of the match. The dutch fans appeared to think they already won the match when their team took the lead: 1 - 0. Rodenburcht however forgot to extend their lead, despite several possibilities. Guess what happened? Of course, Spentrup equalized: 1 - 1. Now it was time for the danish fans to sing about their dynamite. Before half time both teams got a good chance to take the lead again, but none of them were successful, leaving 1 - 1 as the half time score.

Although the second half also had a handful of good opportunities for both teams to put the score in their advantage, the second half was never as exciting as the first half. Perhaps the tactical changes didn't contribute to that. Oh... no one scored and so the second half ended the same as it started: 1 - 1.

This meant the game had to go into extra time in order to see one of the teams score the decisive goal. 3 minutes into extra time already it was Spentrup taking the lead after a mistake by Rodenburcht. The danish fans started smelling the victory which was close now. During the rest of the extra time both teams had chances to change the score, but the defenders did an outstanding job today as else we would have seen many more goals. The final score was 1 - 2 and Spentrup was the winner of the latest edition of the Hattrick Masters.

Our congratulations go to Spentrup IF and their manager arsenal1886.

Hattrick announces
Exciting Masters final won by St.Paul United F.C
Last night the Hattrick Masters final was played between St.Paul United F.C from Northern Ireland and last season's Masters winner Spentrup IF from Denmark.

While St.Paul seemed to be the stronger team in the first half as they got several opportunities to score, it was Spentrup who very efficiently opened the scoring in the 31st minute and left fans of the Northern Irish team wondering how this could have happened. Half-time score was 0 - 1.

The second half was a different cup of tea altogether. Not that the first half was boring, but now the game also got the neutral viewer excited, with lots of things happening. Within 15 minutes St.Paul turned the game around with 2 goals and we now had 2 - 1 on the score board. The Spentrup coach felt he needed to react, made some tactical changes and brought in 2 substitutes hoping to change things. To the utter delight of the Danish fans, the changes paid off almost immediately with the equaliser 2 - 2. It however wasn't long that the joy lasted. St.Paul took the lead again 5 minutes later. Another subsitute was brought in by Spentrup, but it seemed to sort no effect this time. In the dying seconds of the game however Henry Peña managed to equalize the score again and having their fans go wild.

So now 30 minutes of extra time would be needed to get this game a winner. During the first half of the additional time both teams got chances to take the lead, but either the keeper was in the way or the players shot the ball wide instead of being between the posts. With 21 minutes of the extra time played, Regner Reimer had to leave the pitch after an offence from the northern irish opponents. Really unfortunate as Spentrup IF had no substitues left and thus had to continue the last 9 minutes of the game with 10 players only. Not much later their fate was sealed and 2 goals were added to the score in favour of St.Paul. On one side of the pitch there were tears of joy when the northern irish fans realized the Hattrick Masters trophy was going to be theirs. On the other side, the danish fans with tears in their eyes, because the victory so dramatically slipped out of their hands. 5 - 3 was the final score when the referee decided it was enough for the day.

Our congratulations go to St.Paul United F.C and their manager Germany il-padrone.

(652691084) Nigeria Koren's Kanoos 1 - 2 De Rodenburcht Netherlands

Hattrick announces
De Rodenburcht new Hattrick Masters winner.
Yesterday evening Koren's Kanoos from Nigeria and De Rodenburcht from the Netherlands played the Hattrick Masters final.

Despite both teams having each had a fairly good chance in the first minutes of the game, it was only until half way the first half when the game really ignited. After a couple of missed opportunities by Rodenburcht, their third chance in a row went in, 0 - 1. It didn't take much time before Korens managed to score the equalizer, barely 5 minutes later. Although the dutch team didn't expect this setback, they weren't intimidated by it and continued attacking. Although having several good opportunities to take the lead again, the score board at half time showed 1 - 1.

The second half started off with another couple of chances for Rodenburcht and this time they were successful, 1 - 2. Korens tried to level the score again, but apart from one decent chance, there was nothing that could make the dutch afraid they would still give this game away. Also the many tactical changes at both squads did not improve gameplay nor lead to more chances for any of the teams. When the referee blew his whistle for the last time, the nigerian fans were obviously disappointed and some of them had a hard time not showing their teams. The dutch fans on the other hand were celebrating the victory of their team De Rodenburcht and continued doing so until the early hours when the sun was about to rise again.

Our congratulations go to De Rodenburcht and their manager robbierodie.
