Bulgarian NT U-20 began international play in qualifying for U-20 World Cup IV. On 07 May 2004, they played the first official match in World Cup and won against U-20 Singapore by 2 - 1 under the leadership of RageLord.

The team's best result was in U-20 WC XVIII when Bulgaria U-20 reached Round IV.
