A number of abbreviations are used in the Hattrick conferences. The meanings of those abbreviations are as follows:

FTW - Forward Toward Wing
GK - Goalkeeper

IM - Inner Midfielder
IMO - In My Opinion
IMHO - In My Humble Opinion
IRL - In Real Life
LA - Language Administrator
MOD - Moderator
MOTS - Match of the Season
NT - National Team
OCD - Offensive Central Defender
OWB - Offensive Wing Back
