| Next U-20 in Chile

| The fifth U-20 World Cup, and the first U-20 championship with the new World Cup rules, will be held in Chile next season. The first qualifiers for this event will be played July 7 and the final in late January next year. This is the first time the U-20 World Cup is played in South America, the previous U-20 cups having been in Germany, Oceania, Romania and Egypt.

Group 1 consists of Norge, Sverige, Nederland and România.
Group 2 contains Eesti, Hrvatska, Polska and Deutschland.

| After a thrilling final where Nederland looked to have grabbed the title they suffered inexperience and Romania could turn things around to win the title by a close 2-3.
Thus the Gold goes to Romania and the Silver to Nederland, while Eesti and Deutschland share the Bronze. Congratulations to all for a well played tournament!
