The Sixteenth World Cup tournament took place from 13 May 2011 to 8 July 2011 held in India.

Starting 17 December 2010, 124 national teams (no new entrants) played a total of 840 matches in the 16 groups of qualification in order to define the 32 participants to the final stage. In this tournament the host country India failed to qualify.

In semi-finals, Sverige defeated Polska 2-1 and Danmark easily beat Malaysia 0-4. Final was a Scandinavian affair and the Danes proved stronger than the Swedes, scoring the winning goal 10 minutes from the end of the game.

Polska player Adam Wala was top scorer with 8 goals.

Once again a very close battle between all countries! A total of 274 302 votes were casted by the community this time around. We look forward to seeing and participating in all the activities planned by the Indian community. To all the countries who threw their hat into the ring, thank you for your great work and dedication. To the others, maybe next season we will have the pleasure of seeing what you are capable of!
