Early career
Joël Crahay used to play in parks and streets in and around Ghent when he joined the group of young footballplayers that later founded SVV Red Star Gent.
Career at SVV Red Star Gent
Joël Crahay was one of the first players who joined SVV Red Star Gent when the predecessor amateur team Rode Ster Gent was created. He made it to the first team when RSG started in Hattrick. He is considered to be the team's most talented attacker.
Personal Life
Joël Crahay is known by his teammates as friendly and spontaneous, and one of the leaders of the group. He is good friends with his team mate Tom Gaal, who is dating Joëls' sister Lisa. Joël Crahay himself is engaged to Laura Vandebrempt, a 20-year old History Student at Ghent University.
