Belgian Season 35, or Global Season 48, was the nineth full season in which Red Star Brussels participated, and the eighth in which they participated as Red Star Brussels (before, they used to be known as Red Star Gent). It was also their first season back in sixth division, after the demotion from fifth division. They played in League VI.673.

The Red Star Brussels stadium, the Leon Trotski Stadium, had 50.000 seats at the beginning of the season. At the beginning of the season, the stadium was extended with 3.000 covered seats, so that 53.000 fans could take place on the benches of the stadium.

Season Summary

The team started with no specific ambitions in the League: after the demotion from fifth division, the management had made clear that there was no goal in this season, training would become the focus of the team's ambitions. There was a small ambition in the Cup, the idea was to break the record of the longest Cup run for the team (4 rounds in season 30).This objective was not achieved: the team stranded again in Round 4. In the league, the fourth place was achieved.
