The team started with its original name Red Star Gent, or the official name SVV Red Star Gent. They changed their name in midseason to "SVV Red Star Brussels".

The Red Star Brussels stadium, the Leon Trotski Arena, had it's original capacity of 12.000 seats.

Season Summary

The ambition of the team this season was to have a first season focussing on training new players. Results were secondary. They arrived untill the second round of the Belgium Cup, in which they were eliminated by FC Devilssss 90. RSG then went on to play one game in the Ruby Cup, in which they lost against Footballtraining4all_com. In the competition, they finished fourth.
