Grêmio Esportivo Pelotense (GEP) is a football team of Brazil / Rio Grande do Sul that the dispute the VI.431 and the Copa Detonando. It was founded on 26/05/2007 under the name of Loucandos. He changed his name on 12/02/2008 for Grêmio Esportivo Pelotense. On 07/10/2008 the team closed. He was banned from Hattrick for 49 days, but the team was reactivated on 09/12/2008 under the name Grêmio Esportivo Pelotas (GEP). Remains active of that date, with the old name, Grêmio Esportivo Pelotense (GEP). It has a strong tradition of having strong defenses and a weak attack of the ages of the Loucandos. Using the majority of its games the 5-4-1 and the 5-3-2, but the 4-5-1 the emphasis also won the team was the strategy used for the most wins, the VI.130.

The GEP is a time unknown, but it gradually has been gaining national space. With only three titles before being closed, and two after being reopened, the VIII.171 and the VII.429. The GEP have been demoted once, in the season 28. His rival is the Colurb F.C of Rio de Janeiro (team that before receiving the name of Garibol), the team played 7 times with the Garibol before the closing of GEP and 5 times after the reopening.

After the reopening of the GEP the team was named the Grêmio Esportivo Pelotas (name changed at 28/08/2009 to the old name Grêmio Esportivo Pelotense) and started to play in the 5-4-1 and 5-3-2 tactics because the training of defense, after a bad start by using the 5-4-1 tactic to join the team started the 5-3-2 with great results such as the 5x1 against Tabajara Garibaldino. Just what the coach needed to make the tactical scheme of standard team. Using the 5-3-2 the team has won the VIII.171 and the VII.459.

At 25/08/2009 the Grêmio Esportivo Pelotas changed your name to Grêmio Esportivo Pelotense again, and when the team have hired the winger Germany Sebastian Quedlinburg the coach have changed the tactical scheme to the 5-4-1 again, the team was disputing to stay in the VI.391 and wasn't well, but when the team draw the game with the strong Chapadão Futebol Clube always thought that the GEP remain in the VI.391 but a "random" result against the BEN 10 FUTEBOL CLUBE have demoted the team to the VII.336 where the team has sought his recovery winning the league.

Now the team plays in VI.431.
