The National team U-20 Bangladesh represents Bangladesh in juniores international friendlies and the U-20 World Cup.

Bangladeshi U-20 began international play during the final rounds of U-20 World Cup VIII, but the team's first official competition was in qualifying for U-20 World Cup IX.

A low user base initially made it difficult for Bangladesh to get top class youth talents, but, with the introduction of Youth Academy, things improved a lot. Since than U-20 Bangladesh team started to do a lot better and they have wins against giants like U-20 Netherland and U-20 Belgium.

NT U-20 Bangladesh has advanced out of qualification twice: their best finish was fourth in Round III of U-20 World Cup XXV; the other time was third in Round II of U-20 World Cup XXII.
