Spanish NT U-20 began international play in qualifying for U-20 World Cup I. The team has a particularly unfortunate trend regarding the world finals; in fact, they faced four finals (the first in U-20 World Cup IV and the last in U-20 World Cup XV), dramatically losing them all.
