Vladimir Stipaničev is a Croatian football player and coach who currently plays for and coaches Farmers on the storm. His best position is Wing Back, but in the club he often plays as Central Defender. He can also play as Winger. He is Powerful. Stipaničev was a member of both Croatia U20 and senior national football team. Since season 71, he coaches Farmers on the storm.
Stipaničev was scouted early in season 50 when he was 15 years old in his hometown of Rijeka by Pavao Rački, scout of NK Turnic youth academy Mali Riječani. He played in academy for two seasons, until he was promoted in second week of season 52. He was considered one of the top talents of his generation, and it was expected that he would be sold for big money.
Immediately after promotion, Stipaničev was signed by Spanish club No More Play? for almost 5 million €. He spent twelve seasons in Spain, playing with the team in Spanish Division VI and Division VII (winning two titles in the latter), and making over 180 competitive apperances for the team. On 21st February 2017 Stipaničev was sold for whooping price of 12 million Euros (120 million Croatian Kuna) to Farmers on the storm, a Croatian then-Division IV team and farm which already had two national team wingbacks in likes of Zoran Dobrila and Benjamin Ramljak. Because of those two already "reserving" their wings, Stipaničev is mostly forced to play as a Central Defender Towards Wing for the club. With the club he won Division IV title in season 49, and currently plays in Div. III.15. He is the Farmers' second-choice set piece taker (after Leonardo Kršlović) and third-choice captain (after Ramljak and Dobrila). He is magical Defender, extra-terrestrial Winger, excellent Playmaker and formidable Passer.
Stipaničev scored his first Farmers and second career hat-trick in season 67's Ruby cup 1st round match away at Varteks Varazdin, which Farmers won 5-0. He scored two regular and one free kick goal. Farmers eventually reached semifinals of Ruby cup.
Stipaničev debuted in Croatia U-20 team as 19-year old in Season 54. He played 13 games for the team in span of two seasons, as Croatia quite surprasingly reached U-20 World Cup XXI in Belgium managed by oda14 (Croatia later reached 4th Round, equaling its best result in history, but Stipaničev was too old to play in the World Cup Finals). He played his first National Team game in first week of Season 59. He was used sparingly by coaches, and played just 8 games for the NT from Season 59 to his transfer to Farmers. He played just one game during Season 65 campaign in which Croatia reached 3rd phase of the tournament. He was member of Croatia national team in the next season's WC qualification, but suffered a terrible injury in the first round. He however recovered and was starter in the WC's final phase, where Croatia was kicked out in Round 2.
