Indonesia is a Middle East Asian league, the 46th nation to join the Hattrick World.

Indonesia is the world's largest island country, with more than seventeen thousand islands, and at two milion square kilometres, the 7th largest in the combined sea and land area.

Indonesia is an ethnically diverse country, with around 300 distinct native ethnic groups. The country's national language is Indonesian, but over 700 languages are officially recognized.

With over 267 million people, it is the world's 4th most populous country as well as the most populous Muslim-majority country. Java, the world's most populous island, is home to more than half of the country's population. The country's capital, Jakarta, is the second-most populous urban area in the world.

History

• Indonesia is one of the countries that exist since April 2002 (global season 16).
• In Hattrick, Indonesia is divided in 33 regions, after a complete revision of names and areas. Initially there were 26 regions:

Ambon, Banda Aceh, Bandung, Banjarmasin, Bengkulu, Denpasar, Jakarta, Jambi, Jayapura, Kendari, Kupang, Lampung, Manado, Mataram, Medan, Padang, Palangkaraya, Palembang, Palu, Pekanbaru, Pontianak, Samarinda, Semarang, Surabaya, Ujung Pandang, Yogyakarta.

Community

• The INTRIC or Indonesia Hattrick Community, founded by CAPPELO, was the first federation for Indonesian users.

After years of activity, it unfortunately suffered a rapid decline after that the Indohattrickers (Indonesian Hattrickers), even those with HT-supporter, prefer to talk in the Indonesian nation forum.

• Meetings: The local users also organize, in Mall Foodcourts or restaurants, gatherings called Kopi Daratan or Kopdar that allows any IndoHattrickers to meet each other face to face. In a Kopdar, the IndoHattrickers basically discuss, talk, and share anything related, or not related to Hattrick.
  

Unofficial Cups

• Candradimuka Cup is an unofficial Indonesia Cup only applicable for those who are playing in Indonesia, and those who's team has at least three under 20 years old Indonesian players to train. This cup was precisely created to find new young talents for the Indonesian U20 National Team and quite few Indonesian U20 players played in this unofficial cup.

The cup itself was sponsored by GM-Toshi, who's the founder of Candradimuka Cup, and organized by dj-exile,himatika (and later handled by AnnKawaii) with the purpose to make easier for the Indonesian U20 National manager to scout the new roots for the U20 National Team.
