Argentina (also Argentina in Spanish) is a South American country. It was the 7th nation to join the Hattrick World.
The Argentine Republic is the second largest mainland area in South America after Brazil, and the largest Spanish-speaking nation. Buenos Aires, is the federal capital of the nation and the largest city.The country has its roots in Spanish colonization of the region during the 16th century. The declaration and fight for independence (1810–1818) was followed by an extended civil war that lasted until 1861. Several waves of European immigration radically reshaping its cultural and demographic outlook; 62.5% of the population has full or partial Italian ancestry
History
- Argentina, one of the first leagues, was created in October 2000 (global season 11).
- As part of Hattrick's initial expansion, even if younger than Sweden, the country uses the global season count (along with only Germany, England, France, Finland, Denmark, Italy, Mexico and USA).
- Argentina hosted World Cup II. NT finished in Round II.
- Argentina hosted U-20 World Cup XXXI, but U-20 NT failed to qualify for the event.
