On 10 October 2018, The Enigmatic Guardians and Lokomotiv Veltem Back-on-Track played a friendly in week 11 of season 69. Lokomotiv Veltem Back-on-Track went into the match as Unofficial Clubteams World Champions and held on to the title with a comfortable 7-1 victory. Lokomotiv Veltem Back-on-Track went down already 1-0 after three minutes, but when The Enigmatic Guardians were reduced to ten men after 15 minutes already following a red card for Filip Spasojević, this resulted in an easy win for the away team.

Match report

Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Enigmatic Guardians Arena saw a crowd turnout of 1982. Valentas Maceikonis was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jiří Plachý and Emile Lenain. The following players had been chosen by Enigmatic: Ramírez de Haro - Dubé, Ochoa, Caellas, Spasojević - Caixa, Baćović, Goldschmidt, Gubinelli, Kaca - Bezold.

Back-on-Track's lineup was: Ćupina - Guðjónsson, Wehmeier - Al-Sadah, Hahn, Van Lede, De Muynck, Kurtov - Tavuş, Zhivotnev, Flores.

The Enigmatic Guardians fielded a 4-5-1 lineup. For Lokomotiv Veltem Back-on-Track, the formation of choice was 2-5-3.

First half

The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to Ramon Caellas, but the Enigmatic player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! Enigmatic's Wojciech Kaca was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free-kick after 8 minutes. Farid Al-Sadah came close to levelling the score 14 minutes into the game, as he was set up with a through ball coming in from the left, but his shot hit the post. As Filip Spasojević had, completely unprovoked, swept the legs out from under an opponent in front of a linesman, the referee gave the Enigmatic player a red card without batting an eyelid. With Filip Spasojević no longer on the pitch, Alonso Ochoa took over free kick duty. Jorge Guillermo Flores could have made it all square after 18 minutes, if only his free kick had been a few inches to the other side of the post. 20 minutes into the match the visitors levelled the score at 1 - 1 as Ferhat Tavuş struck home from a rebound off the crossbar, following a shot from the right. After 26 minutes, Back-on-Track put themselves up 1 - 2, as Nikolay Zhivotnev finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. 1 - 2 was the halftime score. Back-on-Track had most of the ball, with 73 percent of possession.

Second half

Given a free kick close to the byline, Back-on-Track tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let Janick Van Lede slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 1 - 3, 58 minutes into the game. After 63 minutes, Back-on-Track's Janick Van Lede burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 4. Vital Dubé got left behind when Back-on-Track's Guido De Muynck left scorch marks in the turf 76 minutes, finishing off with a blisteringly swift strike. 1-5! With 78 minutes played, Back-on-Track put themselves up 1 - 6 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Jorge Guillermo Flores. Vital Dubé of Enigmatic received a yellow card after 80 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Back-on-Track increased their lead after 81 minutes when Jorge Guillermo Flores broke through on the right, upping the score to 1 - 7, much to the home crowd's dismay. It was announced by the referee that he estimated stoppage time to be around 2 minutes. This meant there could still be an extra attack or two left in the match! The match ends 1 - 7. Back-on-Track enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 73 percent of possession.

Post match

Enigmatic's top performer was clearly Fridolf Bezold. On the other hand, Alonso Ochoa's play was disheartening. Silvain Hahn performed admirably for Back-on-Track. However, Dietmar Wehmeier made a disastrous appearance.
