History
België is one of the biggest countries in Hattrick. The first season, which was called season two (because there was an error in season one that caused the league to be created without any teams in it) started on the first of January 2002. This happened after Pelotas, a user that formerly playing in the USA, had asked for a separate league to be created for Belgium.
Name
In February 2005 around 4200 Belgian users voted in a country name poll. Most of the voters wanted to keep België as the country name. 57% wanted to keep it as the drop down menu name, and 60% wanted it as the full name. Other choises where Belgique and Belgium.

National Teams
Senior National Team
Main article: België national team
België have participated in every World Cup. They failed to advance past the qualification round in the first four tournaments, but under the management of CAPTAIN-MOONSJE became a fixture in the later rounds, advancing as far as Round IV in World Cup VII. Moonsje's tenure was not without controversy, as he suffered an unfortunate inability to operate his mouse correctly in setting his tactics for a match with the USA in which a Mutual PiC had been arranged with USA manager ArdentEnthusiast. After Moonsje stepped down, België declined, failing to qualify in three of the next four tournaments (and only advancing to Round II in World Cup XI. Current manager Patrickske has advanced België into Round II and is looking to return them to Round III for the first time in several years.
U-20 National Team
Main article: België U-20 national team
België have participated in every U-20 World Cup. They were eliminated in the pre-qualification round of U-20 World Cup I, but after that saw a steady improvement in their fortunes over the next three tournaments, earning direct qualification to U-20 World Cup IV before being eliminated in Round III. The side suffered a brief setback in U-20 World Cup V, where they were eliminated in Round II, and U-20 World Cup VI, where they failed to qualify. Since then, België have been a consistent force, earning bronze trophies in U-20 World Cup VII, U-20 World Cup VIII, and U-20 World Cup XII. Current manager -Archie- hopes to follow up their recent third-place finish with another strong performance in U-20 World Cup XIII.
