History

Iceland was created late 2001 and was at first taken care of by Danish GMs and Mods. Soon they realized that the community was beginning to expand greatly and since Icelandic language is quite unique, it was decided that Iceland should get their own Mod. Hagskinna was the first person to take the MOD assignment and did so until 2007 when Argonite took over after Hagskinna resigned. Argonite started as a Moderator but worked his way up to the GM prefix when the Icelandic community had talked to the Danish GameMasters to let someone take over that side. Was that agreed and MOD-Argonite was promoted to take over. He has been taking care of the Icelandic Game Master side since.
