Red Star Tunis (abbrevation RS Tunis) is a football team in Hattrick International, located in Tunisia. The team currently plays in league VI.266 of the Hattrick International Competition. They are the third team of SVV Red Star Brussels.

History

The Early Years

The team was created at the end of Season 63, as the third team of Lunacharsky. Tunisia was selected because Lunacharsky speaks French, like in Tunisia, and playing in a small country adds something interesting to the game: more possibilities for community building, training of U20 and NT players, and flag chasing.

Name & Slogan

Team Name

The current name "Red Star Tunis" was introduced in December 2016, the day the Third Team was requested in Hattrick. It was decided to take the English name for the team, as Hattrick International is an international competition.

Slogan

The official slogan of the team is the same as SVV Red Star Brussels "Nixor, Concordia, Socialisma", or "Struggle, Solidarity, Socialism". It is also the slogan of the trotskyist party LSP in Belgium, of which many supporters of the RSB hometeam are members. The slogan expresses the sportive rivalry and competition between football teams, while on the same time stressing on the class unity between all workers of different teams, or like RSB President Jan Verhamme of the Red Star Brussels supporters' association put it: "Football rivalry is for one evening, class solidarity is forever"

Team colours, logo and kit

Team colours

The basic team color of Red Star Tunis is red. Yellow is the secondary color, beige a third color. The exact offical colours can be found in this overview:

Use Color Name Ex.

The Rode Ster Paramaribo logo is set in a white circle, surrounded by a yellow border, and topped by a red star. In the circle there is a fist clenching the Rose of Socialism, over a star. Under the logo the Tunisian flag can be found.

The RST logo was developed by Galwayan, a French player who manages Hérisson FC (46961). Staff, players and supporters of Red Star Tunis are eternally grateful for the professional logo.
