Chile (also Chile in Spanish) is a South American country. It was the 16th nation to join the Hattrick World.
The Republic of Chile covers an area of 756 096 square kilometres (291 930 sq mi) and has a population of 17.5 million. The capital and largest city is Santiago.Spain conquered and colonized the region in the mid-16th century, replacing Inca rule. Chile declared independence from Spain in 1818.
History
- Chilean league was created in May 2001 (global season 13).
- Chile hosted U-20 World Cup V, but failed to qualify for the event.
- During World Cup in México the U-20 Chile NT placed third in Round IV, but just one goal away from winning a medal, sharing the same points and goal difference with future world champion of U-20 Norway.
- After finishing third in World Cup XIV, in 2012 the Chilean NT becomes the first non-European NT to win the World Cup.

- First Chilean NT big player was (1532617) Joaquín Diez, that brings Chile among the world top 20 teams.
- The all-time best Chilean player is (10627615) Julio De Pablos Caño, one of the best inner midfielder in the world.
- Local Sapphire Cup is dedicated precisely to de Pablos Caño.
- Local Emerald Cup was names after legendary top scorer Pau Gerpe.
