Early career
Gason is a part of SVV Red Star Gent since its foundation in August 2009. He became more important during the first full season in which RSG competed, Global Season 40, where he became a regular player on the wingback.
Career at SVV Red Star Gent
Joris Gason forms with Floris-Jan Schoep and Ray de Vreede the base of the Wingback of RSG. He started to play more regularly on this position starting from season 40 on. He stopped to play and left the team by the end of that season.
Personal Life
Joris Gason is a modest and friendly young man, who is always to be found for a practical joke. Gason is openly gay, and as such is important for the LGBT awareness in football. He lives with his partner in Ghent.
Together with his former comate Xavier Meerbergen, Joris opened a Belgian Fries Stall near the stadium after his retirement from football.
