Starting from global season 77 (January 2021), Africa has its own tournament, just like in real life as the [[World Cup]] and [[U-21 World Cup]] qualifiers also function as continental competitions.
 
All regional National teams in Hattrick are guaranteed a place. The continental championship is played in groups of 6 teams, home and away, over 10 weeks. The best teams from the group stages enter the "final eight".

Algeria is Africa's largest country by area, and Nigeria is its largest by population.Average population is the youngest amongst all the continents.
