South Africa (in English: South Africa in , Afrikaans: Republiek van Suid-Afrika, in Zulu: iRiphabliki yaseNingizimu Afrika, in Xhosa: iRiphabliki yaseMzantsi Afrika) is an African country. It was the 25th nation to join the Hattrick World.

The Republic of South Africa is located at the southern tip of the African continent. It borders the countries of Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Moçambique, Swaziland, and Lesotho (an independent enclave entirely surrounded by South African territory). Capitals are Pretoria (executive), Bloemfontein (judicial), Cape Town (legislative), and the Largest city is Johannesburg.
RSA is often referred to as the "rainbow nation" to describe the country's multicultural diversity: South Africans are over 58 million, about 80 percent of Bantu and 8% of European ancestry (while the remaining 12% are mixed and Indian).

History

• South African league exists since May 2001. It was one of the new leagues for global season 13.

Due to an error in season 1, the cup final between two bot teams was not disputed.

• South Africa hosted World Cup XV, but failed to qualify for the event.
