تیم بزرگسالان یک تیم مجازی است که هر کسی دارد و در هت تریک مدیریت می کند. که شامل تعدادی بازیکن فوتبال مجازی است. معمولا مابین 20 تا 25 (ماکزیمم 50 بازیکن). مدیر تیم 11 بازیکن اصلی برای هر بازی از بین اینها انتخاب می کند (10 بازیکن و 1 دروازه بان) به اضافه ی 5 یار تعویضی(گلزن ، بازی ساز ، وینگر ، دفاع و دروازه بان)
در 26.11.2008 انجمن فوتبال هتتریک اعلام کرد که تعداد بازیکنان بزرگسال هر تیم نمی تواند بیشتر از 50 باشد. قبلا اگر بیشتر از 50 تا می شد بازیکنان اضافی بیمار و ناخوش به نظر می رسیدند.
هر بازیکن نام و آی دی همراه با سن مخصوص به خود را دارد. و از مهارت ها ، شخصیت ها ، فرم ، تجربه و تخصص مناسب ساخته شده است.
اما شما احتیاج خواهید داشت ستاره هایی که بازیکنان تان می گیرند را آنالیز کنید تا در بازی هایتان موفق شوید.
سن
یکی از مشخصه های بازیکن سن او می باشد. از شروع فصل 33 تاریخ تولد بازیکنان مخصوص خود آنها شده است. و هر سال هت تریکی 112 روز می باشد. قبل از این به این صورت اجرا می شد

فرم
فرم یکی از ویژگی های مهم هر بازیکن می باشد. و به این معنی می باشد که یک بازیکن تا چه حد می تواند از از مهارت هایش استفاده کند. شما مشاهده خواهید کرد که یک بازیکن خوب با فرم پایین از یک بازیکن ضعیف با فرم عالی کارایی پایین تری خواهد داشت
تجربه
بعضی از بازیکنان ممکن است توانایی های خارق العاده ای نداشته باشند. اما دانش آنها از بازی توانایی هایشان را بالا خواهد برد. بنابراین بازیکنان پیر و باتجربه اغلب نسبت به بازیکنان جوان و تازه کار همتای خود نمایش بهتری خواهند داشت. برای بحث کامل اینجا را کلیک کنید. Thus, old and experienced players often play much better than their younger, greener colleagues.

Player Specialties
Some of the players in Hattrick have specialties that differentiate them from other players. A player may have only one specialty, and no more.
Player's specialties are also affected by the weather, for example a Quick player will not play as well as he could in wet and rainy conditions. Also players that have Head as their specialty will be better at scoring headers/clearing headers than another player that does not have the Head specialty.
Personality
Finally, a player also has four personality characteristics, leadership, agreeability, honesty and aggressiveness.

Yellow and Red Cards
Players may get booked or sent off during games. Two bookings during a match will automatically lead to the player being sent off. Bookings and Sending-Offs during competitive games eventually lead to a suspensions. A player will be suspended for the next (competitive, cup or league) match if he is sent off, or if he has accumulated 3 bookings during a season. This is shown by a red card symbol on the player page. You can also see how many yellow cards have been received so far. At the end of the season all cards are cleared.
Whilst a player can receive cards during friendly matches, they have no other effects than those seen during the game.
Highly aggressive players will tend to be booked more often than other players. Especially if they're also dishonest or lacking in experience.
Players who are sent off still receive credit for appearing in the match for training purposes; if a player is sent off in a league match, it is not necessary to also play him in the midweek match.
Retirement
Players do not voluntarily retire from Hattrick. They always assume that they can continue to play and be useful to the club! When a player's skills have declined so much so that he is of no further use to the club and he is of no value as a transfer (or when a player suffers a career-ending injury), he may be fired or retired to the club's Hall of Fame. A fired player is not remembered by name — if you attempt to visit his page, you will find only an impersonal note about where the player was last seen. Occasionally, a fired player will be recycled as an externally-recruited coach.
