The Red Star Brussels stadium, the Leon Trotski Arena, was enlarged before the start of the season to accomodate 42.000 supporters. No further enlargements were foreseen.

The ambition of the team this season still was to focus on training new players for the first team. Results were secondary. training of future stars Will de Schietere and Tim Grauls, who arrived in the team last season, was a crucial part of the plan. The ambition for the team was to end in the top-3.
