Divock Origi (Oostende, Belgium, born Season 48) is a Belgian football player who actualy plays for SVV Red Star Brussels. He is a Forward.
Youth Player
Origi was recruited by Red Star Brussels at 16 years old, and evolved in their youth club Rode Sterretjes Brussels. His potential as a quick striker became immediately clear, even if he wasn't destined to become a long-term player for the team.
Divock Origi was promoted to the first team during season 66, and became part of the attackers training plan.
Career at SVV Red Star Brussels
Divock Origi was initially recruited to the team as a trainee that would be sold later. This changed however when Red Star Brussels decided to become a home-grown team. Future striker prospect Will de Schietere was too old for this, and his future first-team place was given to Origi and Frederick Eeckman: Divock Origi would now become a key player in the future of the team, a first-team attacker.
