Albertico Ferrero (Tacna,  Perú) is a former Peruvian football player who played for Ch0c0l@TeS F.C. in Peru, Elkaa in France and SVV Red Star Brussels in Belgium. He was a Midfielder. He currently is team secretary for his last club SVV Red Star Brussels.

Early career[edit]

Ferrero started his carreer at age 29 at the Peruvian team Ch0c0l@TeS F.C. from Tacna, in Southern Peru. He was a crucial player for the team, playing most of the official matches for Ch0c0l@TeS F.C.. During season 39, he made his dream true of playing in Europe by transferring to the French team Elkaa in Paris. Elkaa payed 29 000€ for the South American midfielder. Also in Paris he become a first team player, but he lost his position at the start of Global Season 40.

Career at SVV Red Star Brussels[edit]

On his own demand, Ferrero was granted a transfer to Red Star Brussels at the beginning of Season 40. Ferrero used to be a marxist when he was younger, and immediatly felt at home at the Revolutionary Socialist team. After being the key player in the central midfield of RSB, he became more of regular substitute, and a mentor for players like Désiré Smellinckx, Einar Hagberg and Torben Heyde Petersen.

In Season 43, Ferrero retired as a professional football player. He played one last match on August 15 2010. He is now the team secretary, and will become a referee starting from Season 53.

Personal Life[edit]

Outside football, Ferrero keeps himself busy with translating marxist texts between French and Spanish. He is married to Spanish teacher Maria Cruz-Santin. The couple has one grown-up son, named Doménico.
