Meir Sharabi (Haifa,  Israel) is a Israeli football player who actualy plays for SVV Red Star Brussels. He is a Central Defender.

Early career[edit]

Sharabi was discovered by talent scouts of his local team F.C MACCABI- HONDA- HAIFA, but couldn't stay in this team to aid him in his training. He was as such transferred quickly to the French team Le Reno de Genas. He started as a trainee in the friendly matches, but later became a first team player. Meir Sharabi developped well, and secured a transfer to Slovan Děčín in the Czech Republic.

Czech Republic and Switzerland[edit]

At his new team, Sharabi continued to perform well, and continued to be a fixed first team player. He learned a lot at his new team, and thus secured another valuable transfer to the Swiss team or liquide. Again, Sharabi was a key element in his new team's defense.

End of career?[edit]

By the end of Season 39, and became less and less sure if Meir Sharabi would be able to retain his position in the defense of his team. He however transferred to Spain, to TRIUNFITO F.C., and continued to play in the first team there. After a short stay at FC Chirnogeni in Roumania, Meir finally joined SVV Red Star Brussels.

Career at SVV Red Star Brussels[edit]

SVV Red Star Brussels was in search for players to reinforce its defense, but because of a lack of financial means, they planned to buy an older player. Meir Sharabi quickly came into view, and was transferred. Sharabi would have to organise the team's defense for the coming season and a half at least.

Personal Life[edit]

Meir Sharabi currently lives in Anderlecht, Brussels. He lives there with his partner Marie, and their three children: Shahar, Eva and Ruth.
