Oman (عمان, ʻumān in Arabic) is a Near East Asian country. It was the 114th nation to join the Hattrick World.

The Sultanate of Oman has a population of 4,8 million.
From the late 17th century, the Omani Sultanate was a powerful empire, vying with the Portuguese Empire and the British Empire for influence in the Persian Gulf. The capital, Muscat, was also among the most important trading ports of the Indian Ocean.


History

  • The Omani league has existed since December 2006. It was created before global season 31, together with Yemen.
  • During local season 5, the name has been changed from Uman to Oman.
  • Oman has not hosted World Cup yet.
