The Nation of Brunei, the Abode of Peace (as officially named - Malay: Negara Brunei Darussalam, Jawi:نڬارا بروني دارالسلام‎) is an absolute monarchy with a population of 400 thousand under the Sultan which implements sharia law and directs Islamic practices.
