Savoy or Savoie (Arpitan: Savouè) is cultural-historical region in France. Despite its own strong identity, Savoy is – in Hattrick – part of the administrative Rhône-Alpes region. The territory of Savoy is divided administratively into two separate departments, Savoie and Haute-Savoie.
History
- Hattrick has a policy of accepting only FIFA members as Hattrick countries, but Savoy seemed to have a National U-20 team that won the NFA U-20 World Cup once in global season 20.
- Members of this cultural-historical region were grouped together in a federation called La Fédération Hattrickienne des Pays de Savoie.
