Cuba (also called Cuba in Spanish) is a North American country. It was the 127th nation to join the Hattrick World.
The República de Cuba is a northern Caribbean island country (Cuba, the largest of the Greater Antilles, the Isle of Youth and adjacent small islands). Its inhabitants are more than 11 million and its capital is Havana. The state of Cuba was a colony of Spain until the Spanish–American War of 1898, when Cuba was occupied by the United States.In January 1959 the "26th of July Movement" established communist rule.
History
- Cuban league has existed since March 2011 (global season 45).
- The introduction of Cuba as a new country was debated for years in the Forum before creation.
- In 2007, 4 years before the creation of the country, Cuba community was one of the main organizers of the Non-Official Football Association, a supranational union of managers forced to play in other league due to the absence of their nation in the game.
- The NFA members arranged their own NT U-20 and Marineoscuro was the first cuban coach, unofficially elected in 2007. Anselmo Casique was the best player of that era.
- Cuba has not hosted World Cup yet.
